What is Veg Out?
‘Veg Out’ is a fruit and vegetable bag scheme that aims increase access to great food and encourage local people to eat healthily.
In 2005 'Veg out’ was set up by Lache Park Neighbourhood Management with some funding from Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust via a lottery bid and since then we have been providing nutritious food to the local community.
The project buys the best quality eggs, fruit, vegetables and salad at wholesale prices and passes the benefits on to you. You can order bags through this website and pick them up at a local location, whether this be in Lache, Blacon or Ellesmere Port.
The produce that will be in your bag will vary depending on the seasons and what is available at the time of ordering therefore your bags will may change slightly to reflect this.
